San Francisco, Mar 8: Leading computing device maker Apple today unveiled new version of iPad that enable user to access content available through 4G technology – latest standard of high speed wireless broadband, for price range starting USD 629.

This third generation device in its category will enable its user to access, record and edit high definition video.
IPad 3 comes with Retina display feature which has 3.1 million megapixels that will provide more deep, detailed and clear images.

Andi : It’s thicker and heavier. Most people are expecting to have a quad-core A6 processor. I think it’s not a big upgrade against iPad 2. Well, may be we will see a quad-core next year with different body design and perhaps thinner and lighter. I wish Apple will release a smaller version of their iPad like 7.7″ or 8.9″ because I don’t like Samsung tablets.

BKP : Not for me………..wastage of money……..they made it like a brick thicker and Heavier…..this happens when Job is not around. The thickness is due to LTE which will not work in Singapore as here it runs in different frequency of LTE here……will wait for next itteration……till then I am happy with tab 7.7 as primary phone and tablet. My iPhone 4 is now secondary phone for local sim when I travel. Hope iPhone 5 will bring me back to Apple or may be with window 8 around who knows I will ditch both iOS and Andriod……it was in news that Job spend most of his last days on iPhone 5 rather then iPad3………so can understand the technology without soul in iPad3……. hoping to grab a the last iPhone influenced by Job this summer…….unless someone brings a metalic case sub 8mm window 8 phone and tablet.

Anonymous : Differences:

1. Retina display, simply the most amazing resolution on a tablet anywhere right now.
2. Improved camera – using same 5 optics lens solution as iPhone 4S
3. Improved graphics – Dual core A5X with Quad Core graphics performance – Google “Infinity Blade Dungeons”
4. 4G LTE yet maintaining same battery life as iPad 2

Just the 4 above are enough to see that the new iPad is a phenomenal upgrade to the current one. Those with iPad 2 may not need to upgrade, but for everybody else, this is a great device to get.
